Classes are grouped by age, so every student trains with partners their own size. The first class is always free.

Vol. 01 · Ages 4–7

Kids

Coordination, listening and confidence, built through games and real technique.

Gi Basics for beginners and All-Levels classes for experienced grapplers.

Meet the Coach

Professor Lee Rosenfield

First-degree black belt · Mendes Brothers lineage

Professor Lee is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under the legendary Mendes Brothers and a former kids and adults instructor at the world-renowned Art of Jiu Jitsu Academy in Costa Mesa, California. Still an active IBJJF black belt competitor, he's passionate about pushing himself and his students past their limits: the King Midas of teachers, turning his students' goals into gold.

No experience, no fitness requirement and no pressure. Here's exactly what happens.

  1. Step 01

    Pick a class

    Book any class on the schedule. They're all open to first-timers. Kids train Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings; adults can start in Gi Basics, Monday to Thursday at 7 PM.

  2. Step 02

    Arrive 15 minutes early

    Meet the staff and Professor Lee, sign a quick waiver and take a tour. A clean gi is provided for your free class. Just wear athletic clothes underneath.

    Train at your own pace

    Warm up, learn the technique of the day and drill it with a partner. Coaches stay close, and you'll leave knowing more than when you walked in.
